From day one, we immediately received a text message from the wonderful Elenor advising us our room was ready (before we had even left Calgary!!). They continued to check in with us via text throughout our stay to make sure everything was up to standard, this is a service I've never experienced before but was thrilled to have.

This really is, a one stop shop. But in my opinion the real selling feature were the amazing staff who provided an experience like nothing I've ever had before. OH! One more thing, the rooms ALL have excellent views of the lake!!

Adrian (front desk) is just Stellar, he knows the resort and the area like the back of his hand and provided us with so much valuable information. Not to mention he immediately made us feel at home!

Breath taking in every way. You can see the lake from every room. Take in the food. It is awesome. The amenities are plentiful, a spa, pool, gym and much more. At the end of you day take in the food at the bar.

I am SHOCKED this place doesn't have more reviews. In fact, I am hesitant to write one, because I want to keep this secret gem for myself! Where to start.... this place blew my expectations out of the water. I knew from the price range it was going to be an experience, but I was just not prepared for how truly amazing it is.

The restaurant (Jack Sam's) was fantastic (see my other review about that) and the location is gorgeous! We felt so completely relaxed and at peace the entire time. I wish we would have had time to hit the spa, or submerge ourselves in some of the cultural experiences they offer (smudge and sweat ceremonies among others) but we'll have to save those for next time. Our room was ok, but the resort as a whole made up for it.

Just a few tid-bits for first time visitors. They charge a $200 up front deposit to use the golf course and restaurant (on top of your room fee). If you do not use the services you will be refunded, however we thoroughly enjoyed toodling around like it was an all inclusive and just charging our meals to the room. Also, we spent a ton of time researching things to do in the area, and ended up never leaving the resort. They offer free canoes to guests, lawn games, nearby hiking areas out the front door, and an interpretive walk where you can learn about a traditional Kekuli house.
